BACKGROUND

The identity of One Creative Creature is the brainchild of Brendan Patterson, a Melbourne based New Zealand born freelance graphic designer, specialising in the design of visual communications for print and online solutions. Formally qualified with a Bachelor of Media Arts from the Waikato Institute of Technology, New Zealand, Brendan brings with him years of experience across a variety of graphic design mediums including Print, Web, Animation and Video.

During the past 10 years Brendan has worked in various advertising agencies throughout Melbourne, producing advertising for clients including "Grand Hyatt Melbourne" and "FoodWorks Supermarket Group Limited". Over this time brendan has honed his skills and gained valuable hands on experience as a versatile, industrious and creative graphic designer.

In 2007 Brendan started his own practice operating out of his home studio in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond producing advertising for small to medium sized businesses. His passion for design allows him to build upon his well established knowledge of design basics including colour, type, and composition layout, which results in distinct, contemporary, professional designs. He has a love for technology, typography, infographics and modernism, which is evident in his studio setup.
